Philippe + Alessandra

Sometimes all it takes are two beautiful people and the largest snowstorm DC has seen in 20 years.  Well on December 19th, that is what happened!  When we got up that morning we were wondering how this was all going to go down, but it did, without a hitch and probably one of the most beautiful and fun filled weddings we have ever photographed.

Now mind you, we did not have the opportunity to spend hours outside, on location, as we normally do.  Five minutes and we were all freezing and soaked to the bone, but that did not stop us from getting some really gorgeous portraits of two very willing and stunning people.

I wanted to post two excerpts from this wedding, the first being a few simple portraits.  I know that we are known for dramatic skies, over the top prop set ups and insanely prepared environmental images, but there is something to be said about a still, perfect portrait.  The connection and intense passion between Philippe and Alessandra was beautiful to witness and we could not have been more fortunate to have a perfect snowfall as a backdrop.

The entire wedding was a success with the amazing Michele Hodges at the helm and Bob Michael from the Fairmont this wedding was perfectly executed.

Thank you Philippe and Alessandra for sharing this day with us.  We have another Mr. and Mrs. session with them this spring and we are so looking forward to it, I mean, look at them!!

Stay tuned for the second post surrounding all the amazing events and details!

These look amazing, it was pretty chilly taking those pictures out in the snow but I would do anything for these two! Their love for Christ and others is what truly makes them gorgeous! Plus it will probably be the only wedding that I'll be apart of where I get to take pictures out in a blizzard!

So proud to be their mom. even more proud if it were possible ,after looking at these beautiful pictures...For their daughters and sons, the grandmother is the ultimate authority and will ask for a dowry. Please start working very hard if you want to be considered...
